A Smile

His smile was as soft as the
wind that blew through the green leaves of
the gentle trees that stood around the park.

There we shared silent moments of
adventure and hope, letting our
imangination pull us places that were
as far away as the morning star or
as close as the nearest crystal lake.

His eyes were like the clearest emerald,
sparkling as bright as the twilight sky.

His hand in my hand, so warm in mine,
as we walked along strawberry covered
flowers, glistening amoung the moon beams
that flowed softly down from the heavens.

One word quietly uttered, as gently as
the burble of a small creek, flowing
freely throughout the undisturbed  woods.

A peaceful feeling of serenity filled
my being of self as I realize that
his loving heart was to be mine forever more.

This was the happiness that I had sought after.
Now it belonged to me.

His smile lit up the entire sky of my world like
the largest sun.
Mine forever more.
